Legende Vishnu Dieu de la Conservation. La tradition hindoue décerne la plus haute demeure céleste à Vishnu. Demeure céleste nommée "Goloka", nom en Sanscrit, dérivé des bovins. Il écrit la destinée de toute création. Protecteur de l'Univers, incarnant la Bonté, la Compassion et la Fécondité, il a pour mission de préserver l'ordre dans le monde. Toutes ses incarnations ont le teint bleus, connu sous le nom de "Narayana". Vishnu possède quatre bras comme Brahma. Il porte des vêtements jaunes, descend sur Terre en s'incarnant sous la forme humaine, animale ou hybride pour détruire le mal. De son nombril surgit une fleur de lotus sur laquelle trône Brahma. Vishnu intervient sur Terre sous forme d'avatar (incarnations). On compte 10 incarnations, parmi lesquelles on trouve Bouddha, Krishna, Râma. Les caractéristiques de Vishnu Index arrière droit : "La Sudharshan Châkra", spirale de l'éveil Main avant droite : "Le Lotus", symbole de l'Hindouisme Main avant gauche : "La Gadha", sert à fracasser le crâne des ennemis Main arrière gauche : "La Shanka", la conque.
